Cardiovascular problems are modern diseases of today, while women, especially after menopause, are more at risk of heart attack and stroke. Last week, the first HISPA center in Macedonia was opened in the "Acibadem Sistina" clinical hospital. What distinguishes this center and makes it unique in the country and in the region is the personalized approach to reducing risk factors and regulating blood pressure, which significantly affect the prevention of heart and brain infarction. With the opening of this center in "Acibadem Sistina" at the same time, the association "HISPA M" was created, which became part of the regional association HISPA for the treatment of blood pressure and the prevention of heart attacks and strokes.
Such centers are located in 55 cities in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Bulgaria, in which high-level specialists work. Prof. Dr. Nebojsha Tasiq, a well-known cardiologist at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje" in Belgrade, in the interview for Zhenski Ethiopia Email List Magazin (Women's Magazine) explained the specific ways to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases. What is the reason for your visit to Skopje and to the "Acibadem Sistina" clinical hospital? Dr. Tasiq – There are several reasons why I am here. First of all, I want to thank Professor Aleksandar Nikolić and the head of the "Acibadem Sistina" clinical hospital for inviting me to collaborate on two beautiful projects.
The first project is the education of doctors for the treatment of resistant hypertension, the education of a special program which is called HISPA - a program for the prevention of heart and brain infarction. I am pleased to say that the first HISPA center in Macedonia has opened in the "Acibadem Sistina" clinical hospital. Macedonia is the sixth country in which this center has been opened. HISPA is a new and special association whose task is to treat heart and brain infarction, through a special HISPA program, to respond in time to patients who have cardiovascular problems. Why do people today suffer more and more from cardiovascular diseases? Dr. Tasiq - Today, the increase in blood pressure, diabetes, the flu epidemic, the increase in body weight, the disorder of metabolism, are no longer considered as separate diseases, but as a new disease called cardiovascular risk.
